Our aluminum discs are produced with by 99.7% pure aluminum ingot, so our aluminum circle without orange peel problems when you spinning or deep drawing.Our quality is good for deep drawing, spinning. So it is wildly used for cookware. aren’t made by aluminum scrap.

1. Q:Do you produce large aluminum discs? What’s the max diameter disc you can produce?

A: Yes, we can produce large aluminum discs. We have 2 circular cutting machines and 5 dies pressing machines, the max  diameter we can produce is 1500mm.

 

2.Q: What’s the different of CC aluminum circlesand DC aluminum circles?

A: CC aluminum circles means Continuous Cast. The Manufacturing Process is Aluminum ingot – Melting – Continuous  Casting – Coil – circles – Packing.

DC aluminum Circles means Direct casting. The Manufacturing Process is Aluminum ingot – melting – Square Billets –  Direct casting- coil – circles.

As we all know that, many customer use our aluminum circles for cookware and utensil. There are 2 ways to make cookware-  Pressing and Spinning. If you do spinning, use CC material, if you do pressing(DDQ) deeper than 150mm,please use DC  material.

3.Q: What’s the Manufacturing Process of aluminum circle?

A:  There are 2 ways to produce aluminum circle, circular cutting and dies cutting.

For circular cutting,it can make very big sizes(1000mm more),but the circle will be not very round, and the edge will be very   sharp, easy to hurt workers.

For dies cutting, it will be round and smooth, no sharp edges, in our factory, for all diameter below 800mm are produced  with dies cutting, so the surface and edges is welcomed by all our customer.

 

4.Q: How to calculate the aluminum discs weightper pieces?

A:  There is a formula to calculate the weight per piece as below:

2.13*Thickness( mm)* diameter(m)*diamter(m) = 1 pc weight

We will take 1.2*710 mm as example:  2.13*1.2*0.71*0.71 = 1.2885kgs( 1.2884796)

 

5.Q: What’s the aluminum discs thickness tolerance and aluminum discs diameter tolerances ?

A: With the most advance punching production facility, our thickness tolerance is +/-0.02mm (for special application, we can  make it be +/-0.01mm) ; since our circles are dies cutting, it will be round and smooth, no sharp edges, the diameter   tolerance is only +/1mm.

 

6.Q: Do you produce 1 inchaluminum discs and 9 inch aluminum disk?

A: For 1 inch is equal to 25.4mm. the minimum diameter we can produce is 20mm, so we confirm that 1 inch aluminum discs is  OK for us. For 9 inch is equal to 228.6mm, we have dies sizes of 230mm. This will be acceptable for all customer.

 

7.Q: Do you supply thickness 2”aluminum discs?

A: Our aluminum disc blank is mainly used for pizza pan or pot. Thickness range is always 0.3mm- 8mm. For 2’’ aluminum discs  is always cut from aluminum bar.

 

8.Q: What kind of Temper should be used?

A: Temper means hardness, temper O is fully annealed aluminum circles, the softest temper,H12/H22 is 1/4 hard, H14/H24 is  half hard, H18 is full hard.

Temper O usually to make bodies, H14 usually  to make lids/covers

Some customers use O to make lids with very thick aluminum circles, as they worry about that if use thin one, strength will be not enough, so every time, I suggest them to use H14, or other harder temper than O. And then you can use thinner thickness than before. This will save a lot cost for them.

 

9.Q: Do you have any customer who buy aluminum circles in Ghana and Oman?

A: We have customers from Kenya, Ghana, Bolivia, United States, Togo, Middle East, Central Asia,and Algeria,Philippines, and our products are well accepted by our customers.

 

10.Q: What’s anodized aluminum discs? Do you supply it?

A: Our mainly aluminum discs / circles surface is mill finish. For our DC aluminum circles quality is very good for producing  anodized. Our customer always buy it and do the anodize in their own factory, like non-stick pan.
